# API · API keys

Keys start with `em_` and are **hashed at rest**. The full value is shown only at creation time.

## Create / revoke

Use the dashboard at `/dev/api-keys` (or authenticated panel routes). Never ship the key in a public frontend.

## Permissions

| Plan | Default permission |
|------|--------------------|
| Dev Free | `sending_only` |
| Dev Pro | `full` |
