To leave the test sender, verify a sending domain.

Steps

1. In the app, open Domains and add the hostname
2. Choose the SES region (defaults to sa-east-1)
3. Publish SPF/DKIM / MAIL FROM records exactly as shown for that region
4. Wait for verification (minutes to a few hours)
5. Send with from on that domain

Best practices

• Prefer a dedicated subdomain (mail.yourdomain.com) when possible
• Avoid conflicting SPF policies
• MAIL FROM is region-specific (e.g. bounce vs bounce-us) so MX records do not collide — see Regions
• Watch bounce/complaint rates — accounts can auto-pause
